These leases represent a diverse range of industries and highlight the continued demand for well-designed office spaces with modern amenities.
Aaron Zaretsky, representing Urban Innovations as ownership on these transactions, expressed satisfaction with the pace of leasing activity and the growth and vibrance of River North. He also noted that while some owners are facing challenges due to financing issues post-2020, Urban Innovations remains committed to investing in its properties’ spaces, common areas and building operations.
Some notable lease signings include interior design firm Zach Hayes Design LLC at 440 N. Wells (represented by Phil Palmer from Newmark Midwest), Rockitcoin LLC – a provider of cryptocurrency services – renewing their lease at 325 W Huron (represented by Katie Szpryka from Savills), logistics company Alpha3 Logistics Inc relocating to offices at212 W Superior (with representation from Dan Persa from CBRE) ,and new confectioner Chicago Candy Company Inc signing a lease at440 N Wells( represented by Phil Geiger & Rachael Ryanfrom Stream Realty Partners).
