BPR, a leading real estate development company, is currently seeking approval from the Charlotte City Council for their latest project – a $25 million Residence Inn with 139 rooms. The four-story extended-stay hotel will be situated on a 2.7-acre lot at 7708 University City Blvd and is expected to receive approval before the end of this year. Following that, design and permitting processes will take approximately 12 months, with construction slated to begin in 2025.
According to reports by the Charlotte Business Journal, BPR has an extensive portfolio of over thirty properties across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. This includes more than twelve properties currently in various stages of development.
In addition to their upcoming project in Charlotte, BPR also owns four hotels in Greensboro as well as a Residence Inn by Marriott in Winston-Salem and Hampton Inn by Hilton located in Kernersville.
