Transwestern Real Estate Services recently facilitated a 46,000-square-foot lease for Picklemall Inc. at 5555 Town Line Road in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The company’s Sports & Entertainment group, led by Managing Director Tim Katt and Executive Managing Director Larry Serota, served as the exclusive real estate provider for this transaction.
This flagship location will support Picklemall’s goal of establishing 50 facilities within the next two years. The new facility in Vernon Hills will be their second location alongside their first one in Arizona and is taking over the former Toys “R” Us space.
Picklemall is a unique concept that transforms vacant mall spaces into climate-controlled indoor pickleball facilities where players can schedule games and improve their skills using its mobile app and on-site technology. CEO West Shaw leads the company with backing from billionaire financier Steve Kuhn who also founded Major League Pickleball.
