JBG SMITH has joined forces with Volo Sports to launch Club Volo, a temporary recreational facility at National Landing. This new destination boasts four illuminated beach volleyball courts and plans for food and beverage offerings. Conveniently located at 223 23rd Street, Club Volo offers organized league play, community events, court rentals, and corporate wellness programs. Additionally, there are future plans to include temporary pickleball courts next spring.
According to Amy Rice, Senior Vice President of Retail Leasing at JBG SMITH: “Our collaboration with Volo Sports not only enhances the already expansive public spaces in National Landing but also actively fosters a sense of community in the area.”
This partnership is just one aspect of JBG SMITH’s larger initiative to create dynamic community spaces. Last year saw the opening of Water Park – a 1.6-acre dining destination – as well as Dining in the Park featuring Surreal by renowned chef Enrique Limardo.
