CAVA, the fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain, has recently opened its second location in the Chicago area. The new 2,400-square-foot restaurant is situated in Vernon Hills at Hawthorn Mall on 890 N. Milwaukee Avenue. This comes after the brand’s successful launch of its first upper Midwest branch in Wicker Park neighborhood back in April.
According to Louie Lovejoy, Regional Director of CAVA, their mission is centered around bringing heartiness and healthfulness to food while also promoting a sense of humanity through their offerings to guests and team members alike. He further adds that they are thrilled about expanding into Vernon Hills.
The newly opened CAVA outlet will provide employment opportunities for approximately 30-35 locals within the community it serves. The menu features a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as bowls, pitas, dips and dressings that cater to different dietary preferences. In addition to Chicago and Kansas City locations already established by CAVA within Midwestern states like Missouri; this latest opening marks yet another milestone for this rapidly growing chain.
