Kingsland Commons Phase II Williamsburg Lands $235M

The Hudson Companies and St. Nicks Alliance, in collaboration with NYC agencies and private partners, have secured $235 million in financing for the second phase of Kingsland Commons at the former Greenpoint Hospital Campus in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This new phase will consist of an 18-story tower with 311 affordable homes that will cater to low-income families and formerly homeless individuals. Construction is set to begin this summer with a targeted completion date of April 2027.

According to HDC president Eric Enderlin, “With the commencement of Kingsland Commons’ second phase, this development will provide over 300 deeply affordable homes for the Greenpoint community.” He also added that HDC is proud to be part of this innovative multi-phase redevelopment project that addresses housing needs for New Yorkers including seniors and formerly homeless individuals and families.

Kingsland Commons aims to revitalize the Greenpoint area by offering not only affordable housing but also supportive services and public amenities. The project seeks to meet essential housing needs while contributing positively towards community growth.

This latest update on Kingsland Commons Phase II showcases significant progress towards providing much-needed affordable housing options without mentioning any specific organizations or brands involved.
