"Nordstrom Rack Announces Opening of Two Houston Locations"

In Houston, brick-and-mortar retail may be facing challenges in some regions, but the city itself is experiencing a thriving market. Nordstrom has announced plans to launch two new Nordstrom Rack locations in close proximity within the coming months.

One of these stores will be located at Westchase Shopping Center and is expected to span 30,561 square feet with an estimated completion date of late December. The build-out for this store is projected to cost $3.2 million and will be designed by Houston-based CDA Architects.

The second location will occupy 30,000 square feet at Meyerland Plaza just outside the Interstate 610 Loop. With a budget of $3 million for construction expenses, this store will feature a retail sales floor as well as personnel offices and stock storage space.

Currently operating seven stores in the greater Houston area, Nordstrom continues to expand its presence in this growing market with these new additions.
