Monday Properties has announced the appointment of Chris Wiederhold as their new vice president of Acquisitions. In this role, Wiederhold will be responsible for expanding the company’s multifamily business in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions. With almost ten years of leadership experience, he will focus on sourcing and capitalizing on multifamily assets and development land.
According to Adam Carr, executive vice president of Acquisitions and Capital Transactions at Monday Properties, there is a strong demand for apartment homes in these regions due to shifting demographics, high home ownership costs, changing preferences towards renting rather than owning property,and a thriving economy. As such,Wiederhold’s expertise and leadership will be crucial in identifying attractive opportunities for acquisitions or ground-up developments.
Wiederhold brings with him valuable experience from his previous roles at Highlands Vista Groupand Forum Real Estate Group where he successfully transacted properties worth over $1.4 billion.His office will be based out of Monday Properties’ Charleston location.
