Founded by Johnny Morris in Springfield, Missouri back in 1972, Bass Pro Shops was born out of his passion for fishing and hunting. From humble beginnings with just an eight square foot space within his father’s liquor store to now having nearly two hundred stores and marine centers across North America. Annually welcoming over two hundred million visitors to their locations worldwide and generating a revenue of $6.5 billion while employing forty thousand workers.
