The Davis Companies has recently completed the construction of 101 Smith Place, a state-of-the-art Class A life science and lab building located in West Cambridge, MA. This impressive addition to The Quad Life Science campus spans over 161,616 square feet and boasts high-end amenities such as LEED Gold certification, advanced HVAC systems, ample parking space, a fitness center and Bluebike stations.
One of the major highlights of this development is Samsung SDI’s ten-year lease agreement for a 13,604-square-foot spec suite on the third floor. The suite is set to be ready for occupancy by December 2024. In partnership with Invesco Real Estate,the project also includes three other buildings dedicated to life science research and one facility focused on advanced manufacturing.
CBRE’s team consisting of Eric Smith,McKenna Teague,Tess Chandler,and Jack Scibner represented the landlord while Montivista Real Estate Investment’s Ruyi Cai acted as representative for Samsung SDI in securing this deal.Additional spec suites are currently available at this prime location.
