"Chicago Business Leaders Appointed by World Organization, Featuring Bears and Cubs Executives"

Chicago Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren and Chicago Cubs Chairman Thomas Ricketts have been appointed to leadership roles at World Business Chicago, according to a report by the Chicago Business Journal. Warren will join the nonprofit’s executive committee while Ricketts will serve on the board of directors.

In April, Mayor Brandon Johnson and Vice-Chair Charles Smith announced that Philip B. Clement has been selected as president and CEO of World Business Chicago. The organization is dedicated to identifying economic development opportunities in Chicagoland.

Joining Ricketts on WBC’s board are Vamsi Bonthala, co-founder and CEO of Arbor Lodging Group, and Jim Hart, president of Burwood Group. “Having top executives from leading companies in our city involved with WBC will greatly benefit both Chicago and the surrounding region,” said Phil Clement in a statement regarding these new additions to their team.
