The Providence Group, based in Charlotte, has successfully completed four retail lease transactions totaling almost 100,000 square feet throughout the Carolinas. These deals include two with HomeGoods and additional agreements with Homesense and T.J. Maxx.
Melissa McDonald of The Providence Group represented the company in these transactions and notes that competition for retail space is fierce due to a surge in demand across both North and South Carolina. This high demand has led to a decrease in vacancies as well as a shortage of available properties, resulting in increasing rent prices.
