The Imagine Me Leadership Charter School is expanding its presence in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood with the acquisition of a new 63,000-square-foot campus. The school has signed a 30-year lease for the entire building located at 39 Truxton Street. This strategic move will not only allow for an increase in enrollment but also facilitate the transition to a co-ed model.
Open Impact Real Estate, acting as tenant brokers, have successfully secured this new campus which boasts impressive amenities such as a double-height gymnasium, outdoor playgrounds, cafeteria and auditorium. This milestone marks years of planning by the school to secure suitable facilities.
Tenant representation was provided by Stephen Powers, Lindsay Ornstein and Jake Cinti from Open while Steve Nadel and Nechama Liberow from Pinnacle Realty of New York negotiated on behalf of the landlord. Founded in 2011,the Imagine Me Leadership Charter School plans to begin transitioning to their new campus during the upcoming academic year (2024-2025).
