Converting Texas Retail Banking Outlets: Comerica's Solution

Many Americans are witnessing their local banking centers close, leaving most to bank electronically. Comerica is taking advantage of this situation by launching Comerica Coworkspaces – a $3 million flex office initiative that will repurpose 10,000 square feet in various Texas retail banks. So far, two locations have opened and six have been designated as coworkspace candidates.

Each location provides Wi-Fi access, AV presentation equipment, hospitality stations and meeting rooms with configurations varying by location. Community spaces include non-private common working areas along with conference spaces and temporary access to private offices for users’ convenience.

Comerica is also developing the 8,000-square-foot BusinessHQ community resource center at its Thornton Freeway Dallas location which will cost around $5 million dollars and accommodate 20 to 25 small businesses when complete.
