"Chula Vista Relocation: San Diego Workforce Partnership Moves to New Location"

JLL, a leading commercial real estate firm in San Diego, successfully assisted the San Diego Workforce Partnership in securing a new lease for 12,963 square feet at 333 H St. in Chula Vista. The nonprofit organization will relocate its South County Career Center to this location starting in 2025.

Managed by JLL’s managing director Damon Melda, the relocation was made possible through negotiations with landlord Scripps Health and their representatives from Cushman & Wakefield. According to Melda, despite the slowdown of office leasing activity in San Diego recently, strategic relocations like this one demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to workspace design.

The search for an ideal location began over 18 months ago and involved finding a building that met specific criteria such as easy access to public transportation and ground floor accessibility. Additionally, it was important for SDWP’s career center to have secured parking and state-of-the-art facilities that could cater to their needs while serving local communities.

This successful relocation marks another milestone for both JLL and SDWP as they continue their commitment towards providing quality services within Chula Vista without compromising on convenience or functionality.
