Choose Chicago and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) have partnered with industry groups to launch a new campaign encouraging locals and visitors to experience live theatre, music, comedy, and dance performances in Chicago. The Go Live Chicago campaign is designed to remind people of the magic that comes from attending a live show.
Lynn Osmond, President & CEO of Choose Chicago said “The COVID-19 pandemic taught us there is no replacement for the experience of attending a live show”. This sentiment has been echoed by performing arts industry groups across Chicagoland including League of Chicago Theatres; SeeChicago Dance; African American Arts Alliance; Latino Theater Alliance; as well as independent venues who are all supporting this initiative.
By participating in Go Live Chciago patrons can visit any one or more than one hundred performance venues throughout Chicagoland for an unforgettable night out!
