Transwestern Real Estate Services successfully brokered a lease for Abell Auction Company at 6620 Telegraph Rd. in Commerce, totaling 14,117 square feet. The new location will serve as a showroom and storage space for the company’s extensive collection of fine art, antiques, and designs.

Abell Auction was represented by Transwestern’s J.D. DeRosa in this transaction while Mark Repstad of Southland Commercial Real Estate represented the building’s ownership – Cardinal Coate Trust.

With its inception dating back to 1916, Abell is California’s oldest auction house that has been family-owned and operated for four generations. The company has worked with notable estates including those of actors, producers as well as former U.S presidents.

DeRosa expressed his satisfaction with working alongside such an esteemed company like Abell Auction that boasts over a century-long history thriving in its industry: “It is truly gratifying to collaborate with an established institution like Abell Auction which continues to thrive even after more than one hundred years.” He further added how their vast inventory constantly changes but remains highly sought-after by collectors worldwide making it popular among homeowners and decorators alike.

Transwestern Real Estate Services recently facilitated a lease agreement between Abell Auction Company and Cardinal Coate Trust at 6620 Telegraph Rd., spanning across an impressive area of 14,117 square feet in Commerce. This new facility will function both as a showroom where auctions can be conducted along with providing additional storage space required for housing their valuable collection comprising exquisite artwork pieces from various eras along with antique items & designer goods too!

J.D.DeRosa from Transwestern played the role representing interests on behalf of Abbels’ side whereas Mark Repstad who heads Southland Commercial Realty stood up representing owners’ interest during negotiations leading up towards finalizing this deal.

Abell Auction Company is a fourth-generation family-owned business that has been operating since 1916, making it the oldest auction house in California. The company’s portfolio includes working with estates of famous personalities including actors, producers and even former U.S presidents!
