Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to Open New Location at Jersey Shore

JLL has successfully secured a lease for Krispy Kreme’s new 4,000-square-foot factory store at Town & Country Shopping Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. This marks the beloved doughnut chain’s return to Ocean County after nearly two decades.

Scheduled to open in Fall 2024, the new store will boast a “glaze waterfall” and a conveyor belt for freshly made doughnuts. It will also feature a convenient drive-through window. With this expansion into Lakewood, Krispy Kreme continues its growth in New Jersey with existing locations in Paramus, Springfield, East Rutherford and Jersey City.

Represented by JLL’s David Townes and Alana Friedman,Krispy Kreme chose Steiner Equities as their landlord while R.J. Brunelli & Co represented them during negotiations.The shopping center was built back in 1991 spanning over an impressive area of443600 square feet.Its anchor tenants include Home Depotand Value City Furniture.
