A well-established ranching family in the Laredo area is embarking on a new venture to transform their working ranch into a master-planned community. The Walker Family plans to develop 13,000 acres of land into a thriving hub for commercial and industrial businesses, residential properties, and even an airport. This ambitious project, known as Talise Development, was made possible by the discovery of an essential water source within their property.
The Walker Family will be investing $1.6 billion towards this project through their company SE Legacy Development. According to Kandy Walker, this development will bring significant opportunities for all residents in Laredo and South Texas who have long awaited such progress in the region.
Talise Development will be located at the intersection of I-35, US 83,and Texas 255 in Webb County’s unincorporated area north of Laredo,Texas – making it easily accessible from various major highways.
