Aeromine Technologies, a rooftop wind energy provider based in Irvine, has recently secured $9 million in funding to accelerate the rollout of its onsite wind energy solution. The Series A round was led by Houston-based Veriten and also includes investments from global engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti and family offices.
According to Aeromine co-founder David Asarnow, this latest investment will support the company’s efforts to bring their product into the mass market. With over 11,000 inquiries from more than 6,500 companies since launching in late 2022 and a pipeline of 400 qualified projects, Aeromine is well-positioned to capitalize on the multi-billion-dollar distributed energy market opportunity.
The technology has garnered interest from various industries such as industrial, logistics financial automotive commercial government sectors with an even split between European and US customers. There is also growing interest from regions like Asia Pacific Latin America Australia/New Zealand.
This significant funding round marks an important milestone for Aeromine as they continue their mission of providing sustainable wind energy solutions for businesses worldwide.
