Data Center Takes Over Former Las Colinas Neiman-Marcus Warehouse

The demand for large data centers continues to grow, with no signs of slowing down. PowerHouse Data Centers and Harrison Street have acquired a former Neiman-Marcus distribution center in Las Colinas and are planning to transform it into a cutting-edge hub for artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The joint venture has purchased a 50-acre site at 111 Customer Way, currently occupied by a 491,000-square-foot building previously used by the retailer.

According to the Dallas Business Journal, this property will be developed into PowerHouse Irving campus consisting of three data centers spanning over 946,000 square feet. Each building will have an impressive power load of 67 megawatts.

Construction is set to commence in early 2025 with the first building expected to be completed by late next year. The timeline for demolishing the existing warehouse is yet unknown.

Dallas-Fort Worth holds its position as one of the largest markets in terms of data center inventory nationwide.
