Cress Capital and E2M Ventures, both well-respected players in the industry, successfully acquired the property’s loan earlier this year through a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure agreement with previous owner Ares Management. The original balance of $113 million was reduced to an unpaid balance of $96.2 million.
