Realty Capital Management has submitted an application to extend the Lakeside mixed-use community in Flower Mound, Texas. The proposed extension would include additional restaurants, shops, luxury residences for lease with secured structured parking, open spaces such as a music/entertainment plaza and an arts plaza, public trails, a four-story office building and a high-end hotel. This expansion is part of Realty Capital’s plan to further develop Lakeside into a $2 billion project.
Currently boasting over 40 shops and restaurants along with various residential options and office space totaling 165,000 square feet; the proposed extension will add even more amenities for residents and visitors alike. With plans for upscale dining options featuring outdoor patios as well as new retail offerings; this development aims to enhance the already thriving community.
In order to move forward with their vision of expanding Lakeside; Realty Capital is seeking approval from the town of Flower Mound through zoning changes and master plan amendments. If approved; this project will bring significant growth opportunities not only for Realty Capital but also for local businesses within the area.
