Finmarc Management Inc. has announced a new plan for the Telos Corp. headquarters office site in Ashburn, shifting from a data center to a 336-unit townhome community. The Bethesda-based real estate development company has filed pre-application materials to rezone the 25-acre parcel located at 19886 Ashburn Road, near One Loudoun.
This change in strategy reflects Finmarc’s shift towards residential development and follows their previous application for a site plan to build a data center on the property. The proposed townhome community will replace existing buildings from the 1980s and complement nearby retail options.
The current tenant of this site, Telos Corp., is set to lease it as their headquarters until 2029. This redevelopment aligns with Loudoun County’s General Plan for Suburban Mixed-Use which encourages diverse uses such as multifamily residential, office space, retail stores, hotels and institutional core facilities but excludes data centers.
The redevelopment of this Ashburn Office Park into townhomes marks an exciting new chapter in Finmarc Management Inc.’s portfolio.
