Ardent Company, LLC, a general contracting firm based in Maryland, has acquired a three-acre site located at 1300 Defense Highway in Anne Arundel County for $2.19 million. The property includes a small commercial office building and covered storage structure. MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction with Matthew Curran and Andrew Meeder as agents.
According to Meeder, there is high demand for Industrial Outdoor Storage sites due to limited supply in the market. The buyer was drawn to this particular site because of its existing C4 zoning that allows for outdoor storage use. Brentwood-based Ardent Company plans on using the site to store construction equipment.
The acquisition of this three-acre site marks another successful venture by Ardent Company as they continue their expansion into new markets within Maryland’s thriving real estate industry.
