Fashion brand Michael Kors has recently renewed its lease for 203,000 square feet at 11 West 42nd Street in Midtown, a joint property of Tishman Speyer and Silverstein Properties. This deal, reported as the largest office transaction in Manhattan for February, solidifies the brand’s continued occupancy in the building since at least 2012. The terms of the lease have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1981 and now under Capri Holdings along with Versace and Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors has steadily expanded its presence. Other notable tenants at this location include New York University, Kohn Pedersen Fox,and Burberry. Additional details regarding brokerage involvement and expansion plans are currently unavailable.
