Padel Park Aventura, managed by Virgilio Namnum of Padel Park Aventura LLC, has secured a lease for space atop the parking garage at 18851 N.E. 29th Ave., home to the 10X office building. The company plans to construct padel courts in this prime location.
According to reports from S. Florida Business Journal, Namnum’s passion for padel was sparked when his sister married a man from Spain who had been playing the sport his entire life. After they started playing together, they found it difficult to secure court time in South Florida due to limited facilities compared with other sports like tennis and pickleball which have more options available at public parks.
Icon Padel Aventura will offer exclusive memberships with benefits such as preferred booking and parking privileges while also being open for general public bookings.
Miami is widely recognized as the hub of padel in the US and boasts a Pro Padel League team that is expected to be strong contenders for championship titles.
