VanTrust Begins Construction on 2.4 Million Square Feet of Speculative Industrial Space in Kansas City Metro Area

VanTrust Real Estate, LLC recently broke ground on the Platte International Commerce Center in Platte City, MO within the Kansas City metropolitan area. The development will feature three Class A buildings totaling 2.36 million square feet of space for lease with specific spacing availability ranging from 50,000 to 1.3 million square feet. The first speculative building is expected to be shell complete by May 2024.
JLL EVP Phillip Algrim and Managing Director Kevin Wilkerson are leading the leasing assignment for VanTrust Real Estate LLC’s project in Kansas City metro area Northland submarket adjacent to a new world-class airport and transportation infrastructure that promises attractive opportunities for tenants due to its KCI terminal and quality labor pool nearby .
Algrim commented: “The Kansas City metro area continues to stand out as one of the best locations in America when it comes supply chain optimization and logistics.” He added “Platte International Commerce Center is poised attract a wide variety of tenants due its proximity KCI terminal along with access quality Northland labor pool”.
