"Transforming the Former Austin 3M Plant: A Story of Revitalization"

The 156-acre former innovations plant in northwest Austin is undergoing a complete transformation. Karlin Real Estate acquired the property at auction from Nate Paul and has converted it into a life sciences incubator. The developer aims to have the space ready for occupancy by the end of this year.

According to reports from Austin Business Journal, renovations at Highpoint 2222 campus, originally built in 1987, include extensive interior and exterior demolition as well as installation of a glass curtain wall system across all buildings. One of its main attractions will be a state-of-the-art amenity hub spanning over 58,000 square feet with health and wellness facilities along with food and beverage options. Additionally, plans also feature an impressive atrium covering over 75,000 square feet that includes outdoor pavilions, courtyards and recreational activities.

Leasing options are available starting at divisible spaces of approximately150 ,000 square feet through Stream Realty Partners who are handling leasing services for this project – one of the largest vacant office spaces in this region.

Leasing options start from 150 ,000 square feet and above at this campus which is being managed by Stream Realty Partners. This project boasts of one of the largest vacant office spaces in the region.

Turner Construction Co. has been appointed as general contractor while Page serves as architect for this project.
