Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT) has recently announced significant leadership changes, with Christina Chiu being promoted to the position of president and Stephen V. Horn elevated to executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief accounting officer.
Chiu has been a part of ESRT for almost four years now, previously serving as executive vice president, chief operating officer & CFO. According to Anthony E. Malkin – Chairman and CEO of ESRT – Chiu’s experience and strong leadership have played a crucial role in the company’s success.
Horn joined ESRT in December 2020 as senior vice president and chief accounting officer before being promoted to his current role. As per Chiu’s statement on Horn’s promotion: “We had always seen Steve as having great potential for this position when we brought him on board.” She also mentioned that she will continue working closely with him for his growth within the company.
Tom Durels will remain EVP Real Estate while both Chuiuand Horn work alongside Malkinand Durels in their new roles at ESRT.
