Espero Rutland, a $34 million permanent supportive housing complex for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, has completed construction and is now open. The project was led by Caritas of Austin in partnership with the Austin Housing Finance Corporation and The Vecino Group. City bonds totaling $7.5 million have been allocated to provide housing vouchers for building operations.
