Franklin Street, a commercial real estate brokerage based in Tampa, has recently established a regional headquarters office in Austin as part of its expansion into Texas. This marks the third new office opening for the company within the past 18 months, with Nashville and Charlotte being its most recent expansion locations.
With seven service lines covering investment sales, capital markets, leasing, tenant representation and property/project management services; Franklin Street offers comprehensive advisory capabilities.
The launch team in Austin consists of 11 members who will join Franklin Street’s existing headcount of over 400 employees. The local leadership team includes Marshall Durrett who previously led Cushman & Wakefield’s land advisory practice in Central Texas. According to Durrett: “We are assembling a team of experienced partners to oversee our operations across various asset classes including office space, industrial properties and multifamily/retail developments throughout the region.”
In addition to expanding into Austin, Franklin Street also has plans to establish offices in other major cities within Texas.
