An investor group has acquired a prime two-acre property at the Pima Medical Campus in Tucson for the development of a 122-room extended-stay hotel. The campus boasts numerous medical offices and is home to the thriving Pima Medical Institute, making it an ideal location for this new venture. WSA Arizona-Tucson purchased the property for $1.2 million from an affiliate of Rio West Development.
The buyer, founded in 2003, has extensive experience in building Value Place extended-stay hotels and rebranded to WoodSpring Suites in 2015.
This upscale hotel will offer top-notch amenities such as fully-equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stovetops and microwaves; comfortable bedding and seating; flat panel TVs; workspaces; dining areas; free Wi-Fi access; laundry facilities available round-the-clock as well as vending machines. Some locations may also feature additional perks like fitness centers and lobby coffee service.
