Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Hempel Real Estate, and Robinson Park Investments have come to an agreement to jointly acquire the Loews Minneapolis Hotel. Under new management by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the hotel will be rebranded as part of a major global hotel system. The details of this deal remain undisclosed.
This marks Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ third property in Minneapolis since 1993. They also currently manage the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington in Bloomington and previously managed the Crowne Plaza-Northstar Hotel. The acquisition is set to be finalized at the start of March 2024.
Located in downtown Minneapolis, this luxurious full-service hotel boasts 251 rooms and over 12,500 square feet of meeting space. Its prime location puts it near popular sporting and entertainment destinations such as Target Center and Target Field.
