Skanska, a leading construction and development company, has recently completed the State Route-60 (SR-60) Moreno Beach Drive Interchange Improvement Project in Moreno Valley. This $27.8 million project involved replacing the existing two-lane bridge with a seven-lane bridge and reconstructing the north side of the interchange to improve freeway access and accommodate increased traffic demands.
The City of Moreno Valley held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 6 to celebrate the opening of this new interchange.
According to James Bailey, Executive Vice President at Skanska USA Civil’s West Coast operations, “We are proud to have made significant improvements to the Moreno Beach Drive interchange.” He further added that these enhancements have reduced congestion for commuters and residents while also upgrading existing infrastructure for improved safety and traffic flow within the community. All travel lanes across the bridge as well as on-ramps and off-ramps are now open for use by motorists thanks to Skanska’s collaboration with The City of Moreno Valley.
This latest development marks another successful project completion by Skanska in their commitment towards enhancing infrastructure across California without mentioning any specific location or organization names like “Connect” or “Connect LA” or “Connect Texas”.
