Colorado Springs, CO has risen to fourth place nationally with open workspace rates matching Washington D.C. at $200/month during Q4. Additionally, virtual offices in Rochester,NY are significantly more affordable compared to those in Trenton,NJ with a monthly rate of only $50.
Albany has emerged as a prominent research and technology hub due to its IBM Research Center presence. On the other hand,the New York City metro area ranks second for expensive open workspaces with a median monthly rate of $239- an increase of$40 from 2023.With over 304 coworking spaces including major players like Regus (70)and WeWork(37), it’s no surprise that NYC is among the most costly MSAs for this type of workspace.
