Ron Moelis, the chairman and co-founder of L+M Development Partners LLC, has been chosen as the Chairman of the Board for New York City Housing Partnership Development Corporation. With a strong focus on developing affordable housing options for mixed-income and market-rate communities, Moelis is also a founding member of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing and has played an active role in advancing policies that support affordable housing initiatives. He currently serves on multiple boards including those at Tenement Museum and Montefiore Health Systems.
Moelis expressed his gratitude at being elected as board chair by stating that L+M takes great pride in its longstanding partnerships with local communities. He also highlighted their successful collaboration with Housing Partnership over several decades to develop numerous affordable housing projects. With over 40 years of experience, Housing Partnership has facilitated the creation of more than 72,000 units across all five boroughs – contributing to economic growth while strengthening neighborhoods.
