Sports Hospitality Ventures and the Lagoon Development Company have announced a partnership to develop the Sports Illustrated Resort at Lago Mar in Texas City. The resort, set to open in 2024, will offer guests a unique blend of sports energy and Texas hospitality.
According to Uri Man, CEO of Sports Hospitality Ventures, this collaboration will bring together two powerful elements – sports and hospitality – to create an unparalleled experience for visitors. The nine-story resort will feature 200 rooms with stunning views of the lagoon on its premises.
In addition to luxurious accommodations, guests can also enjoy various food and beverage options as well as exclusive access to the Sports Illustrated Beach Club. This beachfront area boasts amenities such as cabanas, resort services, and a swim-up island bar for ultimate relaxation.
