According to a recent report from RentCafe, Dallas has emerged as one of the top metros for converting vacant office space into new apartments. As cities across the country look to adapt to a post-pandemic world and address housing shortages, redeveloping underused office space has become a crucial strategy.
This year alone, over 3,100 apartments in the Dallas area will be converted from former office spaces with an additional 3,800 units planned for future conversions.
