Codina Partners is launching the last stage of its original development and laying the foundation for Downtown Doral 2.0. Spanning 250 acres, Downtown Doral boasts over 10,000 residential units, more than 40 restaurants and retail establishments, two charter schools, a government center and a University of Miami health care facility. The project was initiated by Codina in 2005.
According to reports from the South Florida Business Journal , the developer has announced that this final phase of Downtown Doral will include approximately 25,000 square feet of retail space with thirteen units for tenants connected to a parking garage with room for up to929 vehicles. Additionally,the rooftop will feature pickleball courts.
As construction progresses on this final phase,Codina plans to demolish four outdated office buildings spanning370,000 square feet in order to make way for an additional development on25 acres that has yetto be determined.
