McNeill Commercial Real Estate is making significant progress on three primarily residential developments at Silo Square in Southhaven, located just across the southern border of Tennessee near Memphis.
The first project, known as The Provost, will consist of 92 loft units. Designed in a W-shape and spanning three stories, this building draws inspiration from Thornwood’s architectural style. It is situated south of Silo Square and will also include two retail bays totaling 6,676 square feet. Additionally, The Provost will feature 26 townhomes along the southwest corner of the development which are expected to break ground in February.
Next up is The Hylander – twin four-story buildings connected by a pedestrian sky bridge. Construction on this project is slated to begin after completion of The Provost later this spring. With plans for 162 lofts (some with outdoor balconies), ground-floor commercial space including restaurants and offices as well as garage parking options.
According to reports from the Memphis Business Journal , plans for DeSoto District are still in their early stages but may include more lofts along with commercial spaces such as restaurants and offices plus retail offerings.
