The Moinian Group has recently commenced vertical construction at 7 Platt Street, a luxurious residential development in the Financial District. This project is among the final developments in Manhattan to be completed under the 421-a program.
Spanning over 170,000 square feet, this glass tower will offer a variety of studio, one- and two-bedroom units as well as penthouse residences with accompanying lounge areas. Residents can enjoy indoor amenities such as a fitness center, library, work and study pods along with various lounge spaces. The outdoor spaces include a rooftop sundeck, garden lounge area for movies and barbeques along with outdoor fitness equipment.
According to Matthew Moinian – principal of The Moinian Group – “We are delighted to reach this milestone of vertical construction at 7 Platt which is located in one of New York City’s most historic and financially esteemed regions. It is also noteworthy that this development falls under the last few projects being carried out under the 421-a program.” Completion for this project is expected by Q4 of 2025.
