Link Logistics Real Estate Management, an affiliate of Blackstone, is proposing a 500-unit residential complex near The Domain on Braker Lane. This development will feature structured parking and approximately 5,000 square feet of retail space. It is currently unclear whether the project will consist of apartments or condominiums.
While the property is currently zoned for limited industrial use, developers are seeking a planned development area overlay to allow for multifamily and retail purposes.
Prior to construction, an existing building on the site will need to be demolished. Built in 1985 as part of an office and warehouse complex, this one-story structure spans over 85,000 square feet.
This potential project by Blackstone’s subsidiary showcases their interest in expanding into Austin’s residential market.
