Nestle’s Purina PetCare recently acquired two warehouse and manufacturing facilities in Fairburn, Georgia for $108 million. The deal includes 38 acres of land and a total of 671,850 square feet of space. The seller was Clarion Partners.

The Fairburn facility has been leased by Nestle since it opened in 1972. It currently employs over 340 people and is responsible for the production and storage of dry pet food.

In addition to the Fairburn location, Nestle also has a manufacturing facility in Hartwell and a distribution center in McDonough, employing a total of 1,100 workers across Georgia.

This acquisition highlights the demand for storage space within the pet care industry as evidenced by Purina’s significant investment. With its strong presence throughout Georgia, Nestle continues to expand its operations within this growing market segment.
