"World Market Arrives at Bergen Town Center"

Urban Edge Properties (UE) has recently announced that World Market, a popular retailer offering artisan goods and international food items, will be opening its first store in Bergen County at the bustling Bergen Town Center in Paramus, NJ. The 19,265-square-foot space is set to open in 2024 and was secured through a long-term lease agreement. CBRE’s Jeffrey S. Cohen represented World Market while Urban Edge Properties’ Leigh Lyons handled the transaction internally.

Located on the ground level facing Route 4 – one of the busiest corridors in New Jersey – this new store is expected to attract new customers to the property with its diverse offerings and complementary shops. “The addition of this well-known retailer will not only enhance our tenant mix but also bring more foot traffic to our center,” said Lyons.

Established near San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf over six decades ago, World Market offers unique home décor pieces along with design inspiration for furniture items from around world. With their latest expansion into Bergen County at Bergen Town Center, they are sure to become a go-to destination for shoppers looking for quality products from different cultures.

This exciting news further solidifies UE as an expert player in commercial real estate development and leasing within New Jersey market.
