Lee & Associates recently closed two lease transactions totaling 14,420 square feet in Elgin, IL. Jay Farnam, principal at Lee & Associates’ Illinois office represented the tenant Interconex on its 11,520 square foot industrial space renewal at 1380 Gateway Dr., Unit 4-5. Rick Anesi SVP of Lee & Associates of Illinois represented Ruby’s Nest on a 2,900 square foot office space lease at 2521 Technology Drive; Steve Bass and Jack Brennan from NAI Hiffman acted as landlord Westmount Realty Capital’s representatives.
According to Anesi “Ruby’s Nest had been searching for a suitable location for around one year before deciding upon Elgin due to its proximity to clients and growth potential.” The flexibility offered by this particular site was also an attractive factor when considering future expansion plans.
