The MacKenzie Contracting Company, based in Maryland, has recently named Sara Pollacco as their new vice president. In this role, she will oversee the day-to-day construction management activities for various ongoing projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Her responsibilities include managing subcontractor work and acting as a liaison between MacKenzie and end-users. She will also handle tasks such as budgeting, estimating, and change order management.
Pollacco joined the company in 2018 as a project manager and was later promoted to senior project manager in 2020. With almost eight years of experience in project management and business operations under her belt, she brings valuable expertise to every assignment.
According to Marty Copsey, President/COO & Principal of the company’s 35-person team (which celebrated its 35-year anniversary last year), “Sara is an invaluable asset to our team with her strong teamwork skills.” He also noted that she played a significant role in helping MacKenzie Contracting complete over 180 construction projects during their record-setting year of 2023.
This promotion marks another milestone for Pollacco’s career at MacKenzie Contracting Company without mentioning any specific location or branch names like Connect CRE or Connect LA or Connect Texas.
