Elevate Research Properties, a subsidiary of Taconic Partners focused on life sciences, and Silverstein Properties have successfully leased a 10,000-square-foot lab suite at The Hudson Research Center. This space, located in Midtown West at 619 West 54th Street, will be occupied by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for their Human Immune Monitoring Center (HIMC) led by Dr. Miriam Merad. The HIMC specializes in analyzing individual patients’ immune systems to provide personalized guidance for diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
According to Matthew Weir, president of Elevate Research Properties: “The resilience of the life sciences market in New York City is evident despite challenging macro-economic conditions affecting the overall commercial real estate market.” He also expressed excitement about expanding their partnership with Mount Sinai and nearing completion of the successful redevelopment project at The Hudson Research Center.
