"100 Year Old Dallas Factory to be Converted into Apartments"

RXR Realty has announced plans to develop an apartment tower in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The project will involve demolishing a portion or potentially all of a historic 85,000-square-foot building located at 2625 Elm St., which was originally constructed in 1924 and previously housed manufacturing facilities and offices for Baylor Healthcare System. This marks RXR Realty’s first venture into the Texas market.

According to reports from the Dallas Business Journal, the proposed development is expected to consist of six to seven stories with approximately 300 residential units, as well as parking and ground-floor retail space. While final details are still being determined, construction is anticipated to commence by late this year or early next year.

The century-old factory site holds significant historical value but will soon be transformed into modern living spaces for residents in this vibrant neighborhood.
