The Smoke Tree Resort in Paradise Valley, built in 1954, will soon be replaced by an 82-room resort and on-site restaurant. Walton Global Holdings LLC, based in Scottsdale, recently received unanimous approval from the town council to redevelop the 5-acre site located at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Lincoln Drive.
In addition to luxurious rooms and a restaurant, the new resort will feature a cocktail bar, café, spa and resort-style pool. The main building will house 77 hotel rooms while five single-story casitas will also be available for guests.
According to reports from Phoenix Business Journal , Walton Global acquired this prime location for $14 million in June of 2022 from Geneva Holdings. This site is situated just south of two other prestigious developments – Ritz Carlton Paradise Valley and The Palmeraie retail center – within a $2 billion luxury master-planned community spanning over122 acres.
This exciting news marks another milestone for Walton Global as they continue their efforts towards revitalizing this area with their expert redevelopment plans.
